What is EcoIQ and how are scores calculated? ▾
EcoIQ is an AI-assisted climate intelligence platform that scores companies 0–100 across six pillars:
Environmental Responsibility, Modernisation, Governance & Ethics, Public Benefit, Future Readiness, and a Harm Penalty.
Scores are derived from publicly available data — sustainability reports, government filings, satellite imagery, and news.
All scores are indicative and updated as new evidence is published.

Is the free Explorer tier really free, forever? ▾
Yes. The Explorer tier gives permanent, no-credit-card access to EcoIQ's public company rankings,
country overview profiles, and top-level EcoIQ scores. We believe climate data transparency is a public good,
so the ranking layer stays free. Deeper intelligence layers — full profiles, investor briefings, API — require
an Analyst or Institutional plan.
How does annual billing work? ▾
Annual plans are billed once per year (12 months upfront) at a 20% discount versus the monthly rate.
Analyst annual: £39/mo × 12 = £468/yr (vs £588 monthly).
Institutional annual: £239/mo × 12 = £2,868/yr (vs £3,588 monthly).

What does "development bank compatibility" mean? ▾
EcoIQ maps each company's profile against the screening criteria of major multilateral development banks —
including IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguard Policy, EBRD Environmental Policy, and AIIB Environmental
and Social Framework. Compatibility is assessed as Eligible, Partial, or Conditional — all assessments are
indicative and require project-level due diligence before any financing decision.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time? ▾
Yes. Monthly plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time, effective from the next billing cycle.
Annual plans can be upgraded at any time (prorated); downgrades take effect at the annual renewal date.

What is the EcoIQ API used for? ▾
The EcoIQ API gives programmatic access to company scores, dimension breakdowns, country profiles, and
financing compatibility signals. It is designed for integration into portfolio management systems, ESG

Is EcoIQ data compliant with SFDR / EU Taxonomy? ▾
EcoIQ scores are AI-assisted and indicative — they are not a regulatory rating and do not constitute
an official SFDR PAI assessment or EU Taxonomy alignment determination. However, EcoIQ signals are
designed to be directionally consistent with these frameworks and can support internal pre-screening
workflows. Enterprise clients can request a compliance mapping document.
